Joe's Blawg

Nothin' special here. Just ordinary "blawg" conversation from a typical college student striving to glorify Christ with every minute of his life.

Halleluah, Praise Jehovah!!!

Well again I am overdue for a post. I wanted to make this one last week, but procrastination lasts quite awhile after the end of semester, I am afraid. So anyway, as yall know I have been really struggling in at least two of my classes this fall, and could've easily told yall a week ago I was probably going to make two D's on grades. Well, somehow, someway, the Lord decided to give me better grades than I was expecting, praise him!!! And I have decided to stick with MIS now that I've gotten two of the hardest MIS classes out of the way. Here are my grades:

Course #

MGMT 3510-006

BUSINESS COMMUNICATIONS

ECON 4112-002

I know what yall are thinking "three C's and a B? hahaha thats pathetic!!!" But, I'm not nearly as smart as most people, and thats good for me, especially comparing to how much worse it could've been.

So anyway, if anyone is actually interested, here's my tentative schedule for the Spring:

Thanks to everyone for their prayers. I could've have done it without God. And I don't believe God would have done it without the prayers of my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Halleluah, Praise Jehovah!!!

Why Love the Primitive Baptists?

Well I hate to eclipse my post on changing majors, because I still very much need prayers about that and my struggling situation in college right now, but this blawg is in serious need of an update, so I just want to post something motivating that I mentioned on the wall of the Primitive Baptists Myspace about our faith:

You know what I love about Primitive Baptists? Well look at these other denominations, its just go to church, sit through the service, and then leave, and the only way they really get to know each other through youth groups and such. But us PBs we stick around after the service and fellowship with everybody. Or we'll feast (with some of the best fried chicken in the south cooked up by some sweet ole elderly lady). Even sometimes we'll just gather around and sing more hymns after the service, just because we love it, and we never get tired of it. And you dont see any of these 10,000 member churches in the PBs where all your contributing to the church is a statistic. Instead we'd rather keep our churches smaller and more numerous. Thank God I'm a Primitive Baptist!!!
